Is Nick Sirianni’s Job Really in Danger ?

Nick Sirianni immediately brought success to the Eagles, reaching the Super Bowl in his second season and leading the team to the playoffs every year. However, after a late-season stumble in 2023, fans have grown anxious, questioning some of Sirianni’s in-game decisions despite the Eagles’ powerful 7-2 record this season.
Philadelphia’s offense hit a rocky stretch early on, especially after an international trip in Week 1. The Eagles went 2-2 and scored only 18 points per game over those weeks. Poor decisions like skipping field goals on fourth down — as seen in their win over the Saints — left points on the field, and another risky fourth-down attempt against the Falcons nearly cost them the game.
Despite these concerns, Sirianni’s record is impressive. As ESPN’s Adam Schefter pointed out, playoff coaches rarely face replacement. With the Eagles at the top of their division, Sirianni’s job seems secure as long as they continue on this winning path.
